Wet n Wild Queen of My Heart Eyeshadow Trios Swatches

These trios are part of Wet n Wild Spring 2017 collection. The collection includes two highlighters,a kabuki brush,a lip palette, three cheek/lip tints and three eye shadow trios. You can pick up the entire collection online here or test out your luck at local drugstores.

I came across the display at my local Walgreens however, everything was so picked over I was only able to pick up two out of the three trios ($2.99). These comes in the usual white limited edition packaging nothing changes; feels pretty lightweight though. You get 3.5 grams per trio which is a great deal.

$RL666Q6

The two that I picked up are Will You Marina Me and Hieroglyphic Heart. I noticed these do not performs or feels as nice as the permanent trios, not sure if they changed the formulas or factories.  There’s stiffness to the shadows which makes it quite difficult to apply and blend on the eyes.

$RVMFSLQ

Will You Marina Me contains a soft golden shade, a warm chocolatey brown with a hint of shimmer and a turquoise shade. They look better on the eyes than swatched.

$RO2QDUN

Hieroglyphic Heart contains again a golden shade (more pigmented), a gorgeous matte mauve and a deep bronze. This trio is my favorite out of the two just because of that mauve-y shade. Such a beautiful transition shade for a purple smokey eye.

$RW15PXW

Overall, for $2.99 it wouldn’t hurt to try these out but be aware they are not the same formulas as the permanent trios.

Let me know if you noticed a difference in these trios or is it just me?

XO, Tina
